Delivery

The sale ends at her door, not at the payment.

After how much come how much is delivery, when will it reach me and has it shipped. Tajami prices delivery from what she told you, books it the moment she pays, and keeps her posted in her own chat — so “where is my package?” answers itself.

In the chat

Priced once she says where it is going.

Never from the last customer, a default area or your own city. If she has not said where, it asks. If the place is unclear, it asks once, then hands it to you.

  • Your own rates by area — Lekki, Mainland, Ikeja, with the spellings your customers use
  • Or the courier’s live rate — for anywhere in the 36 states and the FCT, from the weight of what she is buying
  • Adjusted your way — add a fixed amount, round up, or make it free above an order value
  • Time as an estimate, never a promise — “usually 2–5 days” from the courier, or your own same-day for your own rider
  • Never a guessed price — if the courier can’t be reached and you have no rate for that area, it says “let me confirm” and asks you

From payment to her door

Booked when she pays. Tracked until she has it.

01

She confirms where

The payment page carries the delivery line and asks her to confirm her name, phone, address and a landmark — or choose a locker or collection from you.

02

Booked as the money lands

Automatically when the payment is confirmed, or with one tap when you are ready. Send out once a day? Book every paid order together and print the labels.

03

She hears it in her own chat

Booked, picked up, on its way, delivered — in the conversation she started with you, with a tracking link and a delivery code. She can say “stop updates”.

04

Closed when it arrives

Delivered closes the order and settles the stock. Proof of delivery is kept with the order, for the day someone says it never came.

Ways to get it to her

To her door, a locker, or your shop.

You switch each one on, by area. She is only offered what is on and what fits the order.

To the door

By a courier anywhere in Nigeria, or by your own rider in your own city.

To a locker

Where the courier has one, for smaller parcels. She collects with a code, whenever suits her.

From your shop

Your address and hours, shown only once she chooses to collect.

Your own rider

Tap out for delivery and delivered — or let the rider tap them from a link. She gets the same updates and code as with a courier.

Pay on delivery

Off until you switch it on, by area, with a limit if you want one. The courier collects and settles with you. No Tajami commission on it.

Marked fragile

Glass, ceramics and electronics go out marked fragile, from the product itself.

When it goes wrong

Where orders are lost, you hear first.

A wrong address, a customer not home, a parcel coming back. These are the moments a paid order turns into a lost customer, so they come to you straight away.

Answers itself

  • “Has it shipped?”From the courier’s latest status, with the tracking link
  • “When will it reach me?”The courier’s estimate, said as one
  • A new address before pickupUpdated with the courier, and re-priced if the state changes
  • The rider couldn’t reach herShe is asked if the number is still right, before the next attempt

Reaches you

  • A parcel returnedWith the reason — and nothing sent to her until you write
  • “I never got it”With the proof of delivery attached
  • Cancel, or a new address after pickupYour decision, not the software’s
  • A pickup that failed, a booking that could not go throughWith the reason and a one-tap rebook
  • A parcel that has not movedFlagged after three days in the city, five between states

Refunds and redeliveries are yours to offer. Tajami never promises a customer a refund, a second attempt or compensation. When a payment is refunded, the commission on it is refunded too.

The money

Your courier account. Your delivery money.

You connect your own courier account. The courier bills it directly, and the delivery fee she pays arrives with the rest of her payment, in your account. Tajami never holds any of it.

  • What she paid, what it cost you — on every order, so you can see whether delivery makes or loses you money.
  • Warned before it fails — if your courier balance is running low, you hear before a booking can’t go through.
  • A cancelled booking — refunded by the courier to your courier account.
  • Only what delivery needs — the courier receives her name, phone and address, and nothing else.

Questions

About getting it there.

Do I have to use a courier?

No. Your own rider works the same way: your prices, your times, and she still gets the updates, the tracking page and a delivery code. Many sellers use their rider in their own city and a courier everywhere else.

Who pays the courier?

You do, from your own courier account, which the courier bills directly. The delivery fee your customer pays arrives with the rest of her payment, in your account. Tajami never holds delivery money.

Will it tell my customer a delivery date?

Only as an estimate — the courier’s own, worded as one — or the promise you set for your own rider. It never invents a date.

What does my customer see?

Updates in the chat she started with you, and a tracking page under your name with the items, the progress and her delivery code. The page never shows her phone number or house number.

Can customers pay when it arrives?

If you switch it on, for the areas you choose and up to a limit you set. The courier collects and settles with you, and Tajami takes no commission on cash.

What happens if a parcel comes back?

You are told at once, with the reason. Nothing is sent to your customer until you decide what to say — a return is a conversation for you to have.
