Conversations
₦8–₦25 each, after 100 free a month
One customer, one day, where Tajami did work — answered, or raised it to you.

Pay as you goNo subscription, no contract, no card on file. You pay when Tajami does something for you — a customer served, a sale collected — and never for a month you did not trade.

You pay when the product does something for you. Never before, never for existing, never for a month you did not trade.
Not another monthly bill against a month that might be bad. A quiet February costs you almost nothing, and you are still here in December.
No contract, no minimum term, no card on file for a renewal you forget. Go quiet in the off-season and come back without deciding anything.
A running total, the cost per conversation, and a forecast — in the app, all the time. A meter you cannot see is the reason people leave.
Credit is prepaid, like airtime. Conversations and extras only ever spend what you put in, and auto top-up, if you switch it on, stops at a cap you set.
Set the most a month may cost you. Reach it and Tajami writes drafts for you to send, as it does at zero balance, until the month turns or you raise it.
The 1.0% comes out of a payment as it arrives, capped at ₦2,000 a sale. Never on cash, never on a refund, never on your own link.
Conversations price the work of answering. Payments price the checkout. Extras exist so the heavy features pay for themselves — and you can switch every one of them off.

What counts1.0% of money collected, capped at ₦2,000 a sale
Taken at the moment of payment by the payment partner. Never invoiced, never chased.
How it is takenPer use — only if you turn them on
Voice notes, Live selling sessions, SMS fallback. Nothing here is compulsory.
The extrasPer message would turn a viral post into a shock bill and punish you for having customers. So the unit is a customer served.

Banded, not tiered: each band prices only the conversations inside it, and the bands are the discount — applied automatically, to everyone.
Banded means you never pay the top rate on everything. At 600 conversations: the first 100 are free, the next 400 are ₦25, and the last 100 are ₦18 — ₦11,800 in all. Not 500 at ₦25, and not ₦18 across the board.
The planned rate card for the Nigerian launch, in naira. Each new market, starting with Ghana, gets its own currency and rates. There are no negotiated rates: a seller who uses less already pays less, so there is nothing to negotiate.
Move the sliders to your own month. The estimate uses the rate card above, band by band.
Your estimated month
₦15,640
1.86% of the ₦840,000 paid through Tajami
Free₦25₦18₦12₦8
An estimate from the planned rate card. Payment commission is worked out per sale, so one very large sale is capped at ₦2,000 rather than averaged.
What you pay as a share of your sales depends on how many conversations become orders paid through Tajami. One example cannot show that, so here are three.
150 conversations · 30 sales of ₦50,000
₦16,2501.1% of sales paid through Tajami
Few conversations, larger orders. Most of the bill is the 1.0% on sales, and it stays small against what came in.
380 conversations · 42 sales of ₦20,000 · 30 voice notes
₦15,6401.86% of sales paid through Tajami
The example above. Conversations and commission split the bill about evenly.
3,000 conversations · 20 sales of ₦15,000 through Tajami
₦52,00017.3% of sales paid through Tajami
The one to watch. Cash sales never reach the rate card, but the conversations are still work done. Set a monthly limit, or switch answering on only for questions that lead to a sale.
Worked out on the rate card above. Figures are examples.
The payment partner splits it as the customer pays. Nothing is invoiced, and Tajami never receives, holds or forwards your money.
| Extra | Price |
|---|---|
| Voice note transcription | ₦8 per note |
| Live selling session | ₦500 per session, unlimited intents |
| SMS notification fallback | ₦6 per message |
None of them is compulsory, and each one can be switched off.
An account on its own costs nothing, ever.
The whole point of paying as you go.
It is your data.
The screens are not the product.
We do not bill you for our own mistakes.
Emoji and “nice 🔥” never count as a conversation.
A charge on cash would make recording it a cost. Your numbers should be true.
Watching it be right is free.
The commission comes back automatically.
You add credit, and conversations and extras draw it down. No invoices, no failed-card emails, nobody chasing you.
Credit balance₦3,500
Plenty left. Auto-answering is on.
Scroll to watch a balance run down.
Running out of credit pauses one thing only. You are told plainly what stopped, and topping up restores it at once. Reaching a monthly limit you set works exactly the same way.
No. There is no subscription line anywhere on the rate card. You pay for conversations beyond the free 100, 1.0% on sales collected through Tajami, and any extras you switch on.
What you top up. Conversations and extras spend prepaid credit, so they can never run past it, and you can also set a monthly limit lower than your balance. At either point answers become drafts you tap to send, and checkout keeps working. The 1.0% commission comes out of each payment as it arrives, so it only exists when you have been paid.
Almost nothing. Under 100 conversations costs nothing for conversations, and a month with no activity costs nothing at all.
No. You top up credit when you want to, in amounts from ₦2,000, and it never expires. Auto top-up exists, but it is off until you turn it on and set a cap.
Emoji and messages like “nice 🔥” are noise, and noise is never billed. A conversation only counts when Tajami answers or raises something to you.
The courier’s charge is between you and the courier, billed to your own courier account. The delivery fee your customer pays arrives with the rest of her payment. Pay on delivery, if you switch it on, carries no Tajami commission.
Yes. We charge nothing on payments that do not go through Tajami. You lose the automatic confirmation that closes the order, and that is all.
Not yet. Tajami launches in Nigeria, and Ghana is next. It is built for sellers across Africa from the start: each country gets its own currency, payments, delivery areas and language. Tell us where you sell and we will let you know when it reaches you.
No, and nobody else gets one either. The volume bands are the discount, and they apply to everyone automatically. Early sellers are given credit, not a different price.
