42 is back. tell them
23 people asked for size 42. 9 wrote in the last 24 hours and can be told now. 14 are outside the window, so theirs are drafted for you.
It doesn’t know who bought from you, who hasn’t paid, what customers asked for and couldn’t get, which orders are late or which ad produced a sale. Tajami does, because it was there for every one of them.
“do you have size 42?”
→ a sale“who haven’t I followed up with?”
→ an action“why did I make ₦400,000 less this week?”
→ a decisionThree doors into one record. Everything is linked the moment it happens, so which ad produced this customer has an answer.
will it rain in Lagos tomorrow?
I only know about your business.
No web, no general knowledge, and no advice that has nothing to do with your own records. A question it can’t answer is answered honestly, not attempted.
Two things in one place. Ask about anything in the business — then act on the answer without leaving it.
Knowing that 23 people wanted size 42 is useful. Messaging all 23 in one tap is revenue.
Today, this weekend, this week or last month. Not just the totals — the drop between each line, worked out and said out loud, in order of what you can still recover.
what happened this weekend?
Saturday and Sunday · money receivedEvery line opens the conversations or orders behind it. The same summary is your daily digest.
Count too many and you chase people who were never buying — then stop trusting every number you are given. So intent needs a clear signal, or a real depth of conversation. Never one question.
Every answer ends in something you can do — and what you did shows up in next week’s summary, so you can see whether it worked.
Ask“42 people showed intent but didn’t order.”
You followed up with 42 people last week.
11 of them bought, worth ₦340,000.
Follow on without repeating yourself: show me → why → which should I chase? → send. Where no action makes sense, it says so instead of offering a weak one.
A wrong number here is worse than anywhere else, because you will act on it. So it never recalls, adds up or compares anything itself.

A message in a chat app is a paragraph of text. In the dashboard an answer can be a table, a chart or a list of orders — with a button under it that does the thing.
| An answer in a chat app | Ask, in your dashboard | |
|---|---|---|
| What you get | A sentence | Tables, charts, lists and cards |
| Then | Read it, then go and do it | Act on it in the same place |
| Context | None | Knows which screen you’re on |
| Scope | Questions about money | Everything about the business |
| Who can use it | The owner only | Each role, scoped like the rest of the app |
A panel you open with one tap or a keyboard shortcut. It keeps its history, and collapses without losing the conversation.
The seller app is built for the phone first, so on mobile it opens as a full-screen sheet.
Your day so far: 3 new orders, ₦86,000 received.
4 paid orders not sent.

Your daily digest still comes to your messages — that is where you read notifications. Tap an item and Ask opens with that question already asked.

“The price wasn’t confirmed, so it asked you instead.” The real reason — not a link to a help page.
Asking makes sending twenty messages as easy as sending one. So every action is previewed, not described afterwards — and a bulk action lists every person or item it touches before the button.
Musa and Blessing last wrote more than 24 hours ago, so their messages are saved as drafts for you to send.
A sent message can’t be recalled.

Each answer takes the shape that fits it, and every row links to the order, customer or conversation behind it.
Large, with the period stated above it.
A table you can sort, each row tappable.
A small chart, only when the change is the point.
Ordered by money — never by views or counts.
The same card you see everywhere else in the app.
Buttons under the answer. At least one, every time.
How much did I make is a query and a table. Why did sales drop is harder: it breaks the change into pieces, and every piece is itself a figure from your records.
Youwhy did I make ₦400,000 less this week?
You had 14% more conversations than last week, but fewer became orders — 11% against 18%. Most of the drop is the Black Linen Set and delivery questions about Abuja. I can’t account for about ₦40,000 of it.
Money answers mean money received, never orders placed — the flattering number is the wrong one. When a question is genuinely unclear, it asks you one question back.
Correct how it read you once, and it remembers for next time.
The limits are enforced by the system itself, not by the assistant choosing to hold back. A refused question says it was refused, and why — it never pretends the data isn’t there.
Cashierwhat’s the balance this month?
That isn’t available to the cashier role. The owner can see it.
| Role | Can ask about | Can do |
|---|---|---|
| Cashier | Their own sales today | Nothing through Ask · off by default |
| Manager | Everything except settlement | Orders, products, messages, campaigns |
| Owner | Everything | Everything, including settings and refunds |
Every question and every action is logged with who asked, exactly as if it were done by hand.
Every figure comes from a query. If none fits, it says it can’t work it out.
Every query is pre-written and tested, so one shop’s data can never leak into another’s answer.
Previewed first, confirmed by you, logged under your name.
No back door. If the button isn’t yours to press, asking won’t press it.
Your records never inform anyone else’s answers, and theirs never inform yours.
It costs sellers their accounts. Outside it, the message is drafted for you instead.
What it can’t account for, it says it can’t account for.
The same rule as with your customers: that is always yours to answer.
It points you to your accountant, with the export they will want.
A forecast stated as fact is a lie. A projection is always called a projection.
Your record belongs to you. Sales, payments, customers and deliveries build into a real picture of how your business performs. You can export all of it, and it is never shared or pooled with anyone else’s without your explicit yes.
Built in the order that earns trust: answers you can check first, actions next, explanations last.
Answered from your records as figures and tables, with suggestions for each screen, and every answer opened or exported in one tap.
Drafts, mark sent and price changes with confirmation — then bulk actions, with every person and item listed before you confirm.
The explanations come last, because they are the hardest to get right and the easiest to get wrong.
No. It knows only your business — your conversations, customers, products, orders, payments and deliveries — and nothing from the web. Ask it anything else and it tells you it only knows about your business, instead of guessing.
The numbers are never written by the model. Every figure comes from a tested query on your own records, and the model only puts it into a sentence. If no query fits your question, it says it can’t work that out rather than estimate. A wrong figure is treated as an incident, not a quirk.
Never. Every message is a draft you can read and edit, and nothing is sent until you confirm. It still obeys the messaging window: anyone outside it gets a draft for you to send yourself, and it tells you which.
Managers can, for everything except settlement. Cashiers are off by default, and when switched on can ask only about their own sales that day. Each role can do only what it could do in the app, and every question is logged with who asked.
Yes. On a phone it opens as a full-screen sheet from any screen. Your daily digest still arrives in your messages, and tapping an item opens Ask with that question already asked.
Asking is part of your usage, with a counter you can see and a fair-use limit. The most common questions are answered from ready templates without a model at all, which is what keeps it cheap.
You do. Everything it draws on is your record, exportable in full, and never shared or pooled with any other seller’s without your explicit yes.
